MY STORY

"YOU SHOULD MOVE TO CANADA, FUTURE IS HERE"

I was born and raised in Greece, where I studied Psychology while building the foundation of my identity as a musician and a storyteller. But like many creative souls, I found myself longing for something bigger—something that didn’t seem possible in my home country. I had the passion, but I struggled with lack of clarity and felt trapped in a system that made chasing unconventional dreams almost impossible.

When my relatives invited me to move to Canada, I thought I was taking the first step toward a brighter future. But what awaited me was far from easy. Starting over in a new country meant I had to rebuild my life from scratch. I had no established career, no network, and no clear plan—just a deep belief that I could create something meaningful if I didn’t give up.

It wasn’t smooth sailing. I had to face harsh criticism cultural differences, financial struggles, and the pressure of trying to prove myself in a competitive and often uncertain industry. But those challenges taught me some of the most important lessons about resilience, purpose, and the power of mindset.

Turning Adversity Into Opportunity

In the midst of these challenges and after a very inspiring conversation with my brother, I decided to take control of my story. Instead of letting others affect me and waiting for opportunities to find me, I started creating them. I launched projects like ‘I CAN PLAY THAT TOO’, a global music experience born during the isolation of COVID, to connect pianists from around the world and celebrate collaboration instead of competition. It was a bold idea, and it worked.

I also created PurposeCrafted: The Psychology of Personal & Professional Growth, and built programs like Life by Design and Mindset & Emotional Mastery to help others uncover their strengths and build lives that feel meaningful.

These projects weren’t just about my career—they were about helping others break free from the limitations that I, too, had faced. I wanted to show that no matter where you start or what challenges you face, you can create a life filled with purpose and fulfillment.

Creation of "PurposeCrafted"

After years of confusion, disappointments, trial and error, I created PurposeCrafted—a program built on the lessons I learned in my own life. When I began my journey, I struggled with clarity around what I really wanted, how to prioritize my goals, and how to stay consistent with my values. I was constantly second-guessing myself, and I knew that others were probably going through the same thing.

PurposeCrafted was my way of helping others avoid the years of frustration I went through, providing tools to define their purpose, unlock clarity, and take aligned action. It’s not just about building a career or finding success—it’s about designing a life that feels aligned with your deepest values and true self.

IT STARTED WITH ME

The Myths

Along the way, I began to notice how many of us are told false stories about what success, relationships, and happiness should look like. I used to think that if I just worked harder, success would come. And, more often than not, I felt frustrated, because I had no idea what "success" meant for me, and I see how this holds so many people back.

There are myths that say success comes with constant hustle, or that we have to settle for situations or people just because we don’t believe better is possible. I’ve been there. At some point I felt I was leading a life that wasn't fulfilling because, deep down, I was scared of facing the unknown. The reality is, once I stopped chasing what I thought was expected and started listening to what I truly wanted, that’s when everything began to shift.

Helping Aspiring People Transform Their Lives

Today, my mission is to help you experience the same kind of transformation that I did. My training programs weren’t just ideas—I created them because I’ve lived through the struggles they address.

These programs are designed to give you the tools, strategies, and confidence to:

 - Understand who you are and what truly matters to you.

 - Build emotional resilience to navigate challenges.

 - Create meaningful progress in your personal and professional life.

IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT SUCCESS—IT'S ABOUT FULFILLMENT

I believe that success is about more than achieving goals—it’s about creating a life that aligns with your values and brings you lasting happiness. Through my programs, I’ve helped countless individuals gain clarity, develop confidence, and build lives that feel authentic and fulfilling.

Creation of "I CAN PLAY THAT TOO"

After years of feeling like I didn’t quite belong in the traditional music world, I created I CAN PLAY THAT TOO—a global performance project designed to break the mold of what a classical music career is supposed to look like. When I started out, I was told I had to compete, conform, and wait my turn. But deep down, I believed that music wasn’t about hierarchy—it was about connection.

I CAN PLAY THAT TOO was born out of that belief. What started as a small experiment during COVID turned into a worldwide collaboration that brought pianists together across countries, time zones, and genres. The goal wasn’t perfection—it was unity. We filmed from forests, rooftops, concert halls, and living rooms, blending everything from classical to anime to video game scores into one seamless, cinematic experience.

This project exists to give artists a space to feel seen, to build something bigger than themselves, and to reclaim the joy of music without the pressure to prove anything. It’s not about being the best—it’s about being part of something meaningful.

At its core, I CAN PLAY THAT TOO is about dissolving barriers: between genres, between artists, between where you are and where you dream of being. It’s for the ones who were told they didn’t fit the mold. The ones who kept creating anyway.

IT STARTED WITH ME

When I started this journey, it wasn’t about building a brand or leading a global project—it was about reclaiming my voice as an artist. It was about choosing music again, not as something I had to perfect, but as something that made me feel alive.

For years, I had played the roles expected of me—student, performer, academic—but something always felt missing. I realized I’d been waiting for permission to create the kind of art I actually cared about. That shift—choosing my vision over external validation—was the moment everything changed.

Once I stopped chasing approval and started creating from purpose, my story began to resonate with others. That’s when I CAN PLAY THAT TOO  truly came to life—not just as a project, but as a movement for artists who wanted to be part of something real.

THE MYTHS

As I began reconnecting with music and artistry on my own terms, I realized how many of us are fed myths about what it means to “make it” as a creative. We're taught that success means competition, perfection, or going viral—that if we just play the game right, recognition will follow. But I’ve seen how that mindset leads to burnout, self-doubt, and disconnection.

I used to believe I had to follow a linear path—that my worth was tied to rigid expectations of excellence. But the truth is, many of us have been operating under outdated rules that leave no space for joy, experimentation, or real connection.

I CAN PLAY THAT TOO was born from that realization. I wanted to create a space where musicians could reclaim their love for the craft, collaborate instead of compete, and express themselves fully—regardless of genre, background, or training. The myth is that there’s only one right way to be a musician. The reality is, when we stop trying to fit a mold and start creating from truth, that’s when the magic happens.

IT STARTED WITH ME

When I started on this journey, it wasn’t about building a business or helping others—it was about me finally choosing myself. It was about overcoming the internal barriers I had built, like fear and doubt, that kept me from fully stepping into my potential.

I knew I couldn’t create the life I wanted until I became clear about who I was and what I truly wanted. That realization gave me the confidence to share my story with others, knowing it could inspire them to take action and make bold choices for themselves.

HELPING MUSICIANS REDISCOVER THEIR POWER

ariana abedini mindset life coach psychologist

I CAN PLAY THAT TOO wasn’t built from theory—it was built from my lived experience. As a musician and psychologist, I know what it feels like to lose touch with your creativity, to question your path, and to wonder if your voice still matters. That’s why I created this platform: to help artists like you reconnect with the reason you started playing in the first place.

This project isn’t about impressing others or chasing someone else's definition of success. It’s about reclaiming your art, your story, and your space in the world.

I CAN PLAY THAT TOO is designed to help you:
- Reconnect with your artistry in a way that feels authentic and energizing.
- Break through internal blocks like perfectionism, fear, and imposter syndrome.
- Join a global community of musicians who are rewriting the rules—together.

Because this isn’t just about playing music. It’s about remembering that you get to decide what success looks and feels like. And when you show up fully in your truth, you don’t just perform—you move people.

IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT PERFORMANCE—IT'S ABOUT PURPOSE

This project was never just about hitting the right notes or filling seats—it’s about creating something meaningful.

I CAN PLAY THAT TOO exists to remind musicians that their art can be more than a performance—it can be a vessel for truth, connection, and transformation.

Fulfillment doesn’t come from external applause. It comes from knowing that what you’re creating is aligned with who you are. Through this platform, I’ve watched musicians rediscover their spark, find community, and step into a new chapter with clarity, purpose, and confidence.

Because when you’re in alignment—with your values, your voice, and your vision—everything changes.

Your Voice Matters

If this project speaks to you, it’s because you know—deep down—that music is more than sound.
It’s story. It’s connection. It’s you.

I know what it feels like to wonder if there’s space for your voice in a world that often celebrates only a chosen few. But I CAN PLAY THAT TOO was built on the belief that there’s room for all of us.
Your journey, your artistry, your message—it matters.

Whether you’re stepping back into music after years away, craving deeper creative connection, or looking for a stage that finally feels like home, you’re not alone. This is where you come to rise, to reconnect, and to remember who
you are.

Let’s play the story only you can tell.
